Two Arsenals Tour

Pechersk feels polished, but the area changes every few steps: old churches, Arsenal’s military past turned into a food hall and Soviet modernism in between. Want to see the real version of this district? Take the walk.

If you are visiting or moving to Kyiv, a tour (or three!) with Alina is a must. Yes, she knows her stuff, and she goes above and beyond with interesting anecdotes, recommendations and more. I feel more knowledgeable than most locals after my time with her.

I’ve gone to two tours with Alina (Kyiv backyards and Kyiv metro) and loved both of them! Alina is a really great guide - she gives you lots of interesting facts, but does not overload you with dates and details. The cadence of the tours is perfect - they’re relaxed, not rushed, but not too slow either. She keeps the groups small, so you can actually get to know the people you’re touring with. Looking forward to other walking tours with Alina!

Alina took us through the hidden courtyards of Kyiv, telling us the story of the city and how its architecture developed in the last century, leaving trace in some of the decaying buildings. Highly recommend.
