Custom Kyiv Tour

On our first day in Kyiv we planned a tour with Alina! From the first moment we enjoyed the tour. A very warm welcome started our tour. We walked a lot, laughed, talked,.. We had a pleasant drink. Alinka is well-organized, charismatic, energetic and knowledgeable. The first tour was so enjoyable and rich and interesting that I signed up for another tour a day later. We saw many unique places and each was accompanied by detailed storytelling. Alinka guided me through “out of the way places”. Intriguing places not seen by most tourists. It was all very meaningful, thoughtful and fascinating. The types of tours that you are so involved and interested that you do not see time go by. We had a 12+ layover in Kyiv and decided to book a private tour to see it. Alina was absolutely GREAT! She picked us up from the airport after we landed and had a taxi waiting outside for us. (There is a luggage storage place in KBP in case you want to leave your carry ons which was perfect for us since we didn’t want to carry our bags around the city.) Even thought it was raining and a little cold on the day we arrived, we still had a good time. We visited the Pechersk Lavra, Maidan, the Golden Gates, St.Sophia Cathedral, Arsenalna subway station which is the deepest one of the world, etc. I highly recommend seeing the caves in the Pechersk Lavra, my husband and 15 year old daughter compared them to the Paris catacombs except that the monks’ bodies were intact and fully clothed. If you have teenagers you know how hard to get them away from their phones or keep them interested in something for more than 5 min but Alina managed to do it all day long! My daughter was fascinated with the history 😲 and all the stories. Thank you Alina! I highly recommend Awesome Kyiv, you won’t be disappointed

Exceptional tour! Alina designed a perfect day for my son and I. Insightful, well spoken, educated English commentary while seeing many wonderful sights, from hidden gems to more popular places in the city. Great for those that enjoy photography as well those that like to have a guide that does a great job. If you are looking for premium service, go no further. Awesome Kyiv did a great job and when I return, its my first choice.

My Husband had his Best Birthday trip ever! First time to Kyiv and it was worth visiting! We wanted to know the historical background of the city. It wouldn’t have been possible without Alina. She is brilliantly amazing. We spent the entire day sightseeing and had a lovely dinner in the end of the tour. We dont realize how time flies when we are in good company. In one day we felt like we knew the city already. She is excellent in imparting a broad view of KYIV’s history, culture and lifestyle. She made us fall in love with KYIV and Ukrainian food for sure! She is genuinely generous in spirit. She was kind enough to help us find a restaurant because it was quite late at night when we arrived in Kyiv and we were starving. These sort of extra attention really matters! Thank You Alina for recommending us to the nice restaurant for my husband’s birthday celebration! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and best service delivered. All the Very Best for a Bright Future ahead! Highly recommended!
